The Development Studies Programme, in close coordination with the Norwegian Peoples Aid, and the Palestinian Coordination Forum in Lebanon organized a workshop in Beirut to discuss the proposed Palestinian Constitution. This workshop came to compliment the work of DSP in this field in the West Bank and Gaza where a large number of meetings, workshops, and conferences were organized. Over 20 research papers were prepared. Representatives of the relevant Palestinian organizations in Lebanon attended. The discussion was very important, as the participants provided a unique perspective based on the experiences of Palestinians in the Diaspora in general, and Lebanon in particular.
