Institutional Structures in Palestinian Refugee Camps in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip

 This study examines institutional work inside the refugee camps, by focusing on links among capacities, responsibilities and developmental priorities and needs in the camps. It addresses bolstering institutional structures to help improve living conditions in the camps. The study also addresses funding problems, relations between institutions operating inside the camps and various community-based and international institutions, and examines their roles under evolving political conditions from the perspective of the institutions operating inside the camps. The study is divided as follows: Part one: Introduction and methodology. Part two: Objectives, geographic distribution and beneficiaries. Part three: Administrative structures and participation inside institutions. Part four: The relationship between institutions and the role of national and international institutions.
