In cooperation with Priemiere Urgence Internationale
The research project focuses on violence by Israeli settler colonialism, and how it is structured and practiced in relation to the environment. With the rise of global interest and concern over the environment, the case of Palestine offers unique insights into social, political, and economic, manifestations in relation to violence that leads to environmental damage and degradation. The research is empirical and relies on interviews with local governmental and non-governmental organisations in addition to international organisations. Moreover, the research also focuses on 3 case studies in rural areas in the West Bank.
