Development Studies Programme
This study presents an overview for relevant studies (sectoral, local and international reports, studies and newsletters). It presents the needs and priorities of Palestinian women that were concluded based on a large number of focus groups. These groups were organized in marginalized areas (Rafah / Gaza Strip – South, Turkarm – Qalqilya / West Bank-North). In addition, two focus groups were organized in Ramallah and Gaza, where representatives of women organizations participated in a discussion of the obstacles, priorities and recommendations. The study was followed by a workshop organized in Tunis by the DSP and Centre for Arab Women Training and Research (CAWTAR); representatives of UNESCO and many other Palestinian Organizations were present.
