The aim of this study is to shed light on the factors that determine job-search success for recent university graduates in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. To this end, a ten month duration longitudinal survey was conducted to track the job-search success of 495 recent graduates from 5 different universities. Descriptive statistics and time-to event statistical techniques were used to analyze the data, develop relevant statistics and identify relationships between job-search success and potential determinants. Insights from the results were used to develop a nationwide strategy that addresses some of the main repercussions from high youth unemployment rates.
