Baseline survey of women’s views on water and sanitation in Central and Northern West bank. This would help improve these services and suit women needs, and improve women participation for better services. The survey sought the opinions of women in three districts: Tulkarem, Nablus, and Ramallah and El Bireh. The poll surveyed 305 women from the aforementioned districts. There was a deep discussion of the results of the survey through three analytical workshops. The survey focused on the following themes:

  • Availability of water and sanitation services for families.
  • Methods of receiving these services.
  • Quality of services provided
  • Relationship with service providers
  • Recommendations for improving services.

The goal of the survey was to have recommendations that would help municipalities, institutions, and funders in considering and integrating women views when planning for such service related projects.
