Within the framework of the Stockholm +50 conference in June 2022, the CDS together with the partners, carried out out the national consultation process focusing on the global themes pertaining to a healthy planet for all, a sustainable recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, and the implementation of the enviromental dimensions of the SDG’s. The national consultation in Palestine utilized a community engagement approach, the national consultation consisted of regional workshops in various areas of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including workshops in the North, South, and Center West Bank, in addition to the Gaza Strip. Moreover, additional focus groups were held with marginalized groups as well, to highlight further their perspectives. , This was complemented by the final event, a leadership dialogue bringing together representatives of civil society, public sector, private sector, and grassroots actors, among others, discussing the results of the consultation process with stakeholders.
