The CDS Talk series is a progr am at CDS aiming to further engage with development through engaging with its’ various actors’. This includes different visions implemented through lectures, seminars, and mainly, talks; presenting a wide range of speakers ranging from development practitioners, activists, academics, among many. This translates into different discourses pertaining to development further deepening discussions on Palestinian development. Moreover, the talk series is not limited to development as a local issue. In addition to analyzing the Palestinian context which is confronted with Israeli settler colonialism, it further links Palestinian development to the wider colonial contexts and histories thus asserting the cruciality of analyzing development through a globally contextualized understanding, while seeking to understand how South-South dialogues could be furthered.
