The research project is carried out on a number of stages; the first is an assessment stage, while the second stage is further development of the research study further and publishing it. The research aims to assess and study support by AFPS to farmers in the Jordan Valley and Halhul, through 2 different projects; one focusing on date palm cultivation in the Jordan Valley, while the second was linked to support of Al Sanabel cooperative for grape juice in Halhul. The research also develops a methodological approach to better understand development work in Palestine and applies it to the case studies, also analyzing the complexities of development in the colonial context particularly in relation to the case studies.
